It occurs in the following conditions as yellowing between the veins on old leaves or as spots on some plants.
•In sandy soils, magnesium is washed away by excessive rainfall,
•In plants that need magnesium a lot,
•In cases where the acid (pH) value is low,
•Using excessive amounts of ammonium, calcium and potassium fertilizers.
